Hi guys, I believe I’ve found the correct clock spring for my car now that it has lane assist but I just wanted to confirm with you guys.

Here’s a imagine along with part number.

If anyone could confirm would be a massive help 🙂

My car is a 2012 build

Thanks!

No way of getting around it?

So, looking as these switches/stalks on a little bit confused.

I’ve seen CV6T-13335-BE/D mentioned here but these have a small white connector on the rear (pictured)

My stalk / switch has this black connector on the rear

I can only find one, pre facelift focus indicator stalk / switch but there’s no images of the rear of it nor a mention of a part number.
There are facelift stalk / switches but they’re like for like with the transit one I bought every thing I see brings more confusion 🤔

More problems!

Fixed my active city stop fault, the front fell down when hitting potholes and drooped slightly causing it to not work.

Got my new lane assist switch / stalk, and it has a small white connector on the rear where as the old has a large black connector. I’ve got this off a transit so I’ve messaged a new seller who’s selling one from a focus but they don’t show the connector on the rear.

Shall I buy the one from the focus or would it have the same small connector? And with that question do I need a new clock spring?

Thank you!

I again, was being silly and had looked under all editable, but for lane assist and AHB it’s under all editable + hidden.

Now waiting for my new stalk to test lane assist as it’s disabled currently.

Only problem now is I’m getting “active city stop sensor blocked clear screen” since I’ve moved it to the other side. I’m guessing if I disable ACS in the bcm, drive around for a day or so then reactivate it’ll calibrate in its new position of is there more to it?

Thanks!

Hi, it’s me again 😅
I managed to source a ipma for very cheap and I have fitted it and semi activated it.

As you can see, it works. However I’ve only managed to activate the Road signs.
In my forscan setting there was no Auto High Beam or Lane Assist/departure warning/keep assist.
There was a setting for auto lamps and auto high level lamps but I’m not sure if that is it.
I’m not sure if it need to be activated by ASBUILT or if it can be activated in BCMii Main
If anyone can shed some light would be greatly appreciated!

Righty, I’ve actually been pretty sill this whole time now I’m looking back.
I assumed my power and ground where okay, but because I was struggling I decided to move my ground from the OBD port to a chassis grounded bolt.. and

It works. My HS Can has been fine this entire time, I started up the car and the only issue I got was this

Which doesn’t surprise me as it was dangling.
Anyway, I’ve got it working, Yay.
Thank you to all that helped you’re awesome.
Finally working 😅

Apologies for the long reply, I didn’t have time to work on the car. I have tested the voltages direct from the port and they’re around similar to what you said.

This is direct from the obd. And I checked for the wiring at the FDSM and they seemed to be swapped.. so I put them the correct way then cleared the codes crossed my fingers and started the car…

Just checked my HS Can inputs and both have 1.8V, is this too little?

Yes, when I checked with my phone sadly I could not see it, I have asked a friend who had it factory fit if they can see it with theirs.

Unfortunately I don’t have the car currently but I will take a look to see if I can get voltage at the module, just put the multimeter positive on HS Can+ and negative on HS Can- or direct to ground?

I also have the ACS module the other way round to you guys as where it is can be covered by the mirror. But I don’t think this would be causing any issues, certainly not with communication.

Wired up the pins directly to the ACS sensor but still getting no laser beam on my camera.. so I’m taking it that the sensor is kaput.
Without HS Can I should still see the laser beam because of the power?
Unsure, but I’m getting continuity from HS Can at the ACS sensor and the OBD connector so all is apparently connected. Yet, still nothing

Yes, I selected no when it asked for a profile, saw all of the HS can modules other than the FDSM and for some reason no MS can modules. Gen 1 is selected and abs initialisation was done (had ABS light and TC light on)

I have 12v power from fuse 85, chassis ground, and hs can from the OBD port, I’ve just ordered some more pins so I’m going to make a temporary harness till I can figure out if it’s the harness I made or the module itself.

On a seperate note when I was coding with forscan despite my car having the older BCM I had 2 options for ACS, Gen 1 and Gen 2. I have the gen 1FDSM so it’s set to that, but is it possible that i could have gen 2 or just a forscan bug?

Hi all,
Apologies I only speak English but I’ll add a translated version.

I’ve tried adding the ACS system to my UK spec 2013 Focus I’ve coded it but can’t get it working, when the LiDAR is on the screen I see no laser on the camera. I made the connector myself and have tested it and all seems to be working.

I wired this by purchasing a obd2 splitter and using that, however when I do this my forscan only connects with HS Can, yet doesn’t see the FDSM. I do have a couple trouble codes so I’ll add them here.

I feel like I’m being a bit stupid but I can’t work it out 🤦‍♂️
